Luca Arnaudo is a full-time civil servant at the Italian Competition Authority, specializing in competition and regulation. He also consults for international institutions, governments, and NGOs, and serves as a part-time/visiting professor at several universities. He is currently a distinguished lecturer at Syracuse University College of Law (NY, USA) and an adjunct professor at LUISS University’s Department of Business and Management (Rome, Italy). His courses primarily focus on Antitrust, Market Regulation, Pharma-Biotech Law, and Comparative Legal Systems. Luca is regularly invited to speak at prominent institutional and academic venues, including the WHO, WIPO, Harvard University, and the Indian Law Institute.
Luca has authored three academic books and approximately 60 scholarly articles and book chapters on a variety of legal and economic topics. He was co-awarded the 2023 Antitrust Writing Award and consistently ranks in the top 10% of authors on platforms like SSRN and Academia.edu for all-time downloads of his work.
Beyond his professional expertise in law and regulation, Luca is also a writer, publisher, art critic-curator, and expert numismatist.
