Ruben Verdoodt

Ruben Verdoodt is a Ph.D. researcher and teaching assistant at the Consumer, Competition and Market institute of KU Leuven. He works on a doctoral dissertation in the field of European competition law, studying its distributional impact and the position of economically vulnerable consumers.
 
Before joining the institute, Ruben worked as a competition lawyer in Brussels and as stagiaire in the chambers of president van der Woude at the General Court of the European Union. Ruben holds a master’s degree in law from KU Leuven (2022) and completed an Erasmus exchange at the University of Edinburgh.
