Second Annual Conference on Fairness in Digital Markets and Artificial Intelligence  – Synthetic Imaginaries of Digital Fairness

Dear and esteemed colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the Second Annual Conference on Fairness in Digital Markets and Artificial Intelligence (FIDMA 2026), entitled “Synthetic Imaginaries of Digital Fairness”, to be held on 18 March 2026 at Lund University, Sweden.

Following the success of the first edition, the FIDMA Network (European Researcher Network on Fairness in Digital Markets and Artificial Intelligence) invites paper submissions exploring fairness in digital markets, algorithmic systems, and AI regulation. The conference aims to bring together scholars and practitioners from law, economics, and policy to examine fairness as a guiding principle in the governance of AI-driven economies and digital regulation.

We particularly welcome contributions that engage with fairness as both a normative and empirical concept — encouraging synthetic imaginaries that combine theoretical, data-driven, and interdisciplinary approaches.
