Anush specializes in competition law and digital markets regulation across multiple jurisdictions. In 2023, he completed his PhD at the University of East Anglia with a thesis titled ”Pricing Practices in Digital Markets: An Abuse of Dominance Approach.” From 2022 to 2025, he lectured Competition Law, EU Law, Economic and Business Laws, and other commercial law areas at St Mary’s University, Twickenham, London, where he also served as Programme Lead for the LLM in International Business Law. In 2025, he joined the Shaping Competition in the Digital Age (SCiDA) project at the University of Exeter as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, where he co-hosts the SCiDA podcast and produces research on digital competition regulation.
Anush has published peer-reviewed articles on topics including digital markets in the EU, UK and India, the law and economics price personalization, predatory pricing in platform markets, effective remedies in digital markets and in the wider field of abuse of dominance under EU and UK Competition Law. His current work focuses on comparative analysis of regulatory frameworks including the UK’s Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act (DMCCA) and the EU’s Digital Markets Act (DMA), with particular emphasis on designation procedures, pro-competition interventions, and the intersection of AI services and competition policy.
