Ivana Kanceljak is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb, within the Chair of Civil Law. She currently also serves as Head of the Legal Clinic and Executive Editor of the Collected Papers of the Zagreb Faculty of Law (Zbornik Pravnog fakulteta u Zagrebu). She has participated as a researcher in a range of European and national projects. She is the author of numerous scholarly publications in the field of civil law, as well as in the area of consumer protection, with particular emphasis on issues relating to the enforcement of consumer protection and unfair commercial practices. As one of the authors of the book Private Law of the European Union – Special Part (Privatno pravo Europske unije – posebni dio), she was awarded the Dr. Jadranko Crnić Foundation Prize for a published book of significance to the advancement of the legal profession in 2022. She also served as a member of the Council of experts on remuneration in the field of copyright and related rights.
