Mona Lilja currently serves as a Professor of Peace and Development Research at the School of Global Studies, University of Gothenburg, Sweden and also acts as Head of department at Institute of Global Political Studies at Malmö University.
Lilja’s areas of interest are the linkages between resistance and social change, as well as the particularities – the character and emergence – of various forms of resistance. She is the author of the recently published book Constructive Resistance: Repetitions, Emotions, and Time (Rowman & Littlefield, 2021).
