My name is Sagnik Chakraborty, I am a Lecturer in the Department of Law at Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), West Bengal. My research interests span corporate law, criminal law, forensic sciences, and interdisciplinary legal studies, with a focus on doctrinal and empirical approaches to contemporary legal challenges.
I hold an LL.B. (Hons.) and an LL.M. in Corporate Law from The University of Burdwan, and an M.A. in Criminal Law & Forensic Sciences from NALSAR University of Law (DDE), Hyderabad. India, I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Law at National Law University, Tripura, India. I have qualified UGC NET (Law) in 2022 and WBSET in 2023 (Assistant Professor eligibility Examination)
My scholarly work includes research articles and book chapters published in peer-reviewed journals, including those indexed in Web of Science (WoS), and presentations at national and international conferences. I am actively engaged in academic research, focusing on the integration of legal theory, policy analysis, and forensic insights to advance legal scholarship and practice.
