I am Sanem Yetiş. I hold my bachelors degree in the field of business administration and law with double-major at Yeditepe University, Turkey. Then I completed my master degree in International Commercial and Competition Law from University of East Anglia, UK. My master’s thesis on the effects of no-poach agreements was selected as the faculty’s best thesis and received the best performance award. Currently I am working as a practitioner and I also continue my academic research. In recent months, I presented a paper at the symposium on Unfair Competition and Restriction of Competition organised by Marmara University Faculty of Law, explaining the framework of the ne bis in idem principle in the event that multiple legal regulations are applicable in digital markets. During the same period, I completed the advanced course programme ‘Merger Control: Recent Developments in Digital Markets and Beyond’ organised by the European University Institute in Florence, achieving the highest distinction of a certificate of excellence.
